City Commission, District 3 (Paradise Island/Downtown)
Dear Residents of District 3 - Paradise Island and Downtown,
My name is Arthur Czyszczon, and I am honored to be your new City Commissioner for District 3. For those I haven't yet met, I want to share a bit about my journey and commitment to our community.
My family moved from Chicago to Treasure Island in 1990, chasing the American Dream of entrepreneurship. We started with modest beginnings, operating what is now the Page Terrace Beachfront Hotel. Growing up, I learned the values of hard work, dedication, integrity, and family by working alongside my parents.
After obtaining my degree in Hospitality from Saint Leo University, I returned to Treasure Island. Following my father's passing in 2007, I stepped into the role of General Manager at our family hotel, continuing his legacy with my mother.
Over the last two decades, I've been deeply involved in our local government and community issues as both a resident and business owner. Living on these barrier islands, I've seen firsthand the challenges and opportunities our city faces. This experience has convinced me that now is the time to serve in a more official capacity as your new City Commissioner, ensuring that our district is represented with integrity and a vision for a prosperous future.
I will be officially sworn in on March 18, 2025. You'll be able to contact me through my commissioner email and mobile phone, where I promise to respond promptly to your concerns and suggestions.
Thank you for this opportunity to serve our wonderful district. I look forward to working with each of you to make Treasure Island an even better place to live, work, and visit.
All the best, Arthur Czyszczon

Arthur with his wife, Janet, and their two sons, Andrew & Joseph, and Pepper, their dog.
